The prep class is designed to give your dancer the strongest possible advantage heading into auditions. Dancers are introduced in advance to the style, expectations, and standards they will experience in the audition setting — gaining insight into exactly what our faculty is evaluating.

Technique, skill execution, performance quality, focus, and adaptability. The prep class gives your dancer a clear picture of these standards before audition day.
More time with our faculty
The 2-hour class provides valuable extended time in front of our competitive faculty — time to receive corrections, apply feedback, and demonstrate real growth within the same session.
Why it matters
Showing the ability to adjust, stay focused, and work hard in real time is incredibly important — and can be difficult to fully display within the shorter audition class alone.
The advantage
Dancers who attend are better prepared, more familiar with expectations, and more confident walking in. Without this preparation, some dancers may not present themselves as strongly as they are capable of.
Please note: Attendance at the prep class does not guarantee placement on the team. It is highly recommended but not required in order to attend auditions.
